BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION Guitarist Gets 'Banned' For Posting Anti-MÖTLEY CRÜE Comments
December 6, 2004Former L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns, who co-founded BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION with MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx, has apparently been banned from posting on the CRÜE message boards after stating in a web posting last week that the new MÖTLEY CRÜE single was "shit."
Writing to Metal Sludge's "Gossip Board" last Friday, Guns said, "OK, I am the biggest MÖTLEY fan in the world and this new song sucks donkey's ass, elephant's ass and my mom's ass. Vince's [Neil] voice has never been better and they made him sing this shit. I am embarrassed. Yes, Nikki's my best friend, but I ain't goin' along with this one 'cause I would look like a donkey's donkey.
"Look at it this way... If I brought in a song like that for BRIDES, I would surely get fired and Nikki would be very vocal with his opinion as well. That's what friends do. Unfortunately, friends don't always listen to each other."
In a follow-up message, posted earlier today, Guns said, "Nikki had me banned ,,,,, HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA... It's an honor to be banned by Nikki Sixx.
"How do i get hooked up with these egomaniacs???? I just WANNA ROCK!!!!"
Responding to queries about Guns' apparent banning from the CRÜE message boards, Sixx wrote, "Thanks for assuming, but I don't have any idea. I'm not in the BRIDES. Maybe the webmaster had his fill of the bullshit."
